Women in Travel, CIC hosts IWTTF 2024

Soul of Travel is committed to creating spaces for women to take the stage, leading conversations to expand the impact, reach, and acknowledgment of women in travel. Through this work, it’s essential to create inclusive spaces for stakeholders and participants to feel safe, valued, and empowered.

The International Women in Travel and Tourism Forum is one of these spaces

Produced by Women in Travel (CIC), the IWTTF Forum & Awards, will be held this year in London on June 26th and June 27th. This unique industry event has proven to be a collaborative and accessible gathering for those committed to gender equity in travel. Participants can expect inspiring speakers, industry decision-makers, leaders, and professionals to come together to share and gain practical tips for making a more equitable and sustainable tourism industry.

The IWTF Awards recognize change makers in Leadership, DEI, Talent and Allyship with the Travel, Hospitality and Tourism industry.

You can nominate individuals as well as organizations that are striving to create a more equitable and inclusive industry. Nominations close Sunday, May 19.

Listen to the Soul of Travel Podcast Interview with Founder Alessandra Alonso, and hear from Carolyn Ray, editor of JourneyWoman, who will be speaking with Alice Morrison in their session: β€œAgents of Change: Celebrating Midlife Through Work and Leisure.”

In her interview, Alice shares ...

Do not let yourself be defined by what other people's expectations are. You are enough. You are good enough. Just be confident in yourself. Get out there and do what you fancy doing. And if it's something that's a bit of a stretch, that's even better because you will stretch and you will grow. And my honest advice is, you know, don't let the fears of others or the ideas of others put you off because once you start, just take the first step and you honestly, you'll get there really, really, truly you will. I have a hundred percent faith in you.
